In part four of FSMA Fridays: FDA Listeria Guidance, SafetyChain Software’s VP of Marketing, Jill Bender and The Acheson Group’s (TAG) CEO and Founder Dr. David Acheson continue their conversation detailing the FDA’s Listeria Guidance. Here, in the fifth and final segment, Bender and Acheson begin handling questions from the webcast’s live audience.

Jill: We have had a few questions come in. We'll take a moment to answer those. A gentleman is asking "Is Zone One also as critical to be tested for non-ready-to-eat food?" In his case it sounds like a rice milling facility.

David: The FDA certainly recommends it for both, that's kind of the way you handle a subsequent positive in a ready-to-eat versus a non-ready-to-eat is differentiated in the guidance document. So I'd recommend that the caller take a look at that. But yeah, they're chasing Zone Ones for everything. Yeah.

Jill: In reference to the Listeria guidance document, does it apply to only ready-to-eat facilities or is it broader than that?
