VersaMix Multi Shaft Mixers For Complex Formulations
ROSS VersaMix Multi-Shaft Mixers are robust, versatile systems designed for precise processing of high-viscosity solutions, dispersions, suspensions, and emulsions across process industries.
The purpose-built ROSS Model VMC-320 mixer features three powerful agitators:
- Two-wing anchor agitator (10 HP TEFC motor, 29 rpm) with a heavy-duty triangular cross-section and hinged Teflon scrapers to ensure continuous batch turnover.
- Pitched blade turbine (5 HP motor, 257 rpm) for efficient mixing.
- Auger agitator (10 HP motor, 135 rpm) to enhance product flow.
The mixer, constructed from stainless steel type 304 with an 80-grit polished finish, offers a maximum working capacity of 320 gallons. An air/oil hydraulic lift enables full operator access to the agitators and product, while safety limit switches prevent operation when the stirrers are raised or the vessel is removed.
Designed for efficiency, the system supports semi-continuous operation with a 3" flush bottom ball valve for easy discharge. Interchangeable mix cans on non-sparking casters facilitate smooth transport across the production floor.
Control is managed via a NEMA 12 control panel with a user-friendly 7" touchscreen, providing independent agitator speed controls, load displays, a cycle timer, and critical safety features. This robust, versatile mixer is ideal for demanding production environments.
