The mixer/reactor is equipped with two advanced agitators for efficient processing.

High-Speed Disperser: Features two 6" sawtooth blades—one fixed at the bottom and one adjustable along the shaft—driven by a 5 HP explosion-proof motor up to 1760 rpm. This design creates a vortex for rapid wetting of dry ingredients. The disperser is belt-driven with a removable motor, belt, and guard for easy maintenance.

Two-Wing Anchor Agitator: Direct-driven by a 5 HP explosion-proof removable gearmotor operating at up to 45 rpm. It features a heavy-duty triangular cross-section and removable Teflon sidewall scrapers, ensuring continuous movement of batch contents toward the disperser blades, preventing stagnation.
Both mixer shafts are fitted with dry-running single mechanical seals compatible with various solvents, and all product-contact surfaces are polished to a 320-grit finish for sanitary applications.
Additional features include a 2” flush tank discharge ball valve with a sanitary outlet and multiple sanitary inlet ports on the cover. The FDA-50 is designed for mobility and stability, with four splayed stainless steel legs featuring non-marking urethane casters—two rigid and two locking—for secure positioning and easy transport. This versatile and robust system is ideal for demanding mixing and reactor applications.
