Cooper Farms is an Ohio-based, family owned and operated integrated turkey processor, bringing turkey from the egg shell to the deli shelf. A hatchery in Oakwood, Ohio hatches 14 million poults, or young turkeys, per year. Grow out farms and feed mills in Ft. Recovery, Ohio produce 400,000 tons of feed for more than 155 million live pounds of turkey each year for the processing plant in St. Henry, Ohio. The finished products are produced in a cooked meats plant in Van Wert, Ohio rebuilt in 2003 as a state of the art facility after a tornado leveled the previous plant. More than 40 million pounds of turkey, chicken, and pork hams leave this plant every year for restaurants and delis across the Midwest and on the East Coast.
