Birmingham, OH - Whizard Series II Trimmers from Bettcher Industries are the most ergonomically friendly trimmers available today. Providing many new labor-saving design features and offered in a full range of models for diverse trimming applications, Series II represents the newest generation of trimmers, which were first pioneered by Bettcher Industries in 1944.

The Series II line incorporates several key patented design elements to enhance operator productivity, safety and comfort while reducing the risk of musculo-skeletal disorders. Advanced materials and fewer parts make these our lightest trimmers yet, with up to 20% reduction in weight compared to earlier trimmers along with improved balance and reduced effort required to hold the tool. All Series II handpieces feature a contoured handle to reduce grip force and torque momentum, enabling plant managers to truly "fit the tool to the worker." Operators choose from five ambidextrous handle sizes which are easily interchangeable. The handles are color-coded by size for easy identification and are very comfortable – even during periods of extended use.

The Series II Trimmer's enhanced gear mesh design contributes to smoother blade operation, while easier proximity to the built-in steeling device button makes steeling blades quicker and more comfortable than ever. In addition, a new blade/housing interface generates less "chatter" and heat for reduced vibration, thus improving worker operating conditions.

Other features of the newest Series II Trimmer design include a hand-strap that gives operators added safety and control over the trimming action. The flex-shaft/casing attaches to the handpiece via a simple two-action motion, while a new labor-saving design allows for quick-change of bearings without requiring the use of tools.

All new features of the Whizard Series II models meet the needs of the evolving meat, poultry and fish processing workforce. They add a new degree of worker safety and comfort never before seen in a hand trimmer – while at the same time delivering higher productivity, enhanced yields and better bottom-line profits than ever.
