Volumetric Piston Filler

The Model 305 series is a versatile single head volumetric piston filler suited for liquids, creams, pastes and other viscous products. Individual fills can range from 50ml. To 2.5liters per cycle with up to 50 fills/min. in either manual or automatic operation.

During a filling cycle, a piston travels back to draw product from the hopper into a precision machines cylinder, then extends forward to fill. The cylinder is recharged with product as the piston retracts. Product is dispensed into container through a filing nozzle and/or cutoff device. Nozzles are available for single/multiple fill positions or for specific products. Cutoffs prevent products from dripping after the fill.

The 305A has a standard single piston filler with conventional rotary valve; the 605B has flow actuated check valves. The 305C is the same as the 305B but with larger capacity cylinders and valves, while the 305D "Special" is the same as the 305C but with double acting dispenses on both forward and back strokes.

Typical product applications include: adhesives, butter, margarine, burrito mix, cheeses, cordials, desserts, dough, epoxy, extracts, fruit salad, fungicides, honey, ink, jams/jellies, ketchup, mustard, mashed potatoes, oils, peanut butter, relishes, salad dressings, sauces, soups and stews, yogurt and more.
