The FX-100 Vision Controlled Robotic Case Loading System helps processors of frozen foods increase automation and maximize production flexibility while gently packing flexible pouches into cases or trays. The combination of vision technology and robotics improves the accuracy of the multipacking operation to produce tightly packed cases and trays and to increase production efficiency.

The vision system detects the exact position of randomly-delivered pouches on the infeed conveyor and signals the robotic arm to pick up each pouch, in accurate registration, to position the group of packages for loading into a preformed case or tray. The technology combines a servo-driven metering infeed conveyor, vision system, programmable robotic arm and vacuum package pick-up head.

The flexibility of the system allows it to handle a wide variety of pouch styles and bag materials as well as case and tray types. It can be integrated with existing case, tray or wraparound machine to form a fully automatic loading system to optimize the original capital investment.
