Special vision-based machines are designed and manufactured to fit user's needs. Systems feature standard PC technology and off-the-shelf components for high performance and low cost.

Solutions include both high- and low-end applications. Applications in food processing include high speed sorting (color, size, shape) and contamination inspection (thresholding, blob analysis).

System choices include:

• Basic system (DVS100): accepts all standard B&W and color area scan cameras.
• Mid-level system (DVS200): accepts standard and non-standard area scan and line scan cameras, analog or digital.
• High performance system (DVS300): accepts all camera sources, on-board high performance vision processor, scaleable to solve demanding real time applications.

System features:

• Operating systems: Windows NT and 95.
• Vision software features: pattern matching, blob analysis, gauging, morphology, edge detection, ROI, and other image processing tools.
• Integrated I/O for process control and material handling.
• Support for remote on-line training and troubleshooting.
