Ingredients in health bars are many and varied. Best practice for guaranteed customer satisfaction is incoming texture tests on all components – grains/cereals, fruits, nuts, pastes - and a final evaluation on the assembled bar. Modern texture analysers can easily test all these ingredients using stored test programs created by R&D; each test is quickly called up and executed in a matter of one or two minutes. Efficiency in testing is maximized by choice of specific measurement probes and test fixtures that minimize test time while providing data that ensures satisfactory to premium quality for the health bar. Tests can be optimized for level of quality desired with built in QC limits for pass/fail criteria.
