Tetra Pak Announces C3/Flex - Two-In-One Machine Platform

The latest Tetra Brik filling machine, released in June 2004, is the Tetra Pak C3/Flex. This new machine platform takes the original roll-fed concept of the very first Tetra Pak filling machine for chilled products into the 21st century. It provides you with a cost efficient platform for bulk production, as well as offering increased flexibility in being able to switch rapidly between two different volumes.

Apart from steady functionality, the platform offers excellent hygiene properties. The Tetra Pak C3/Flex has an enclosed hygienic design, and all surfaces are made of stainless steel. The machine is furthermore equipped with a hygiene chamber with sterile air over-pressure. Automatic and effective foam cleaning is a built-in feature. The machine is designed to provide XH (extended hygiene) capability as option.

With the Tetra Pak C3/Flex you are able to switch between two different package sizes in approximately 15 minutes. The two volumes currently available are the Tetra Brik 1000 ml Square and Tetra Brik 500 ml Square packages. Capacity for both is 7,000 pph. More package types and sizes will be available in the future.
