The SSX Series of soft start acceleration motor controllers are designed for controlling the speed of conventional three-phase AC induction motors. The controllers are available in ½ HP-50 HP models and feature controls for adjusting starting torque, ramp time, and dwell time. Acceleration is smooth and stepless under all load conditions. When used in conjunction with the torque control option, these 2081230, 460, and 575 VAC units offer motor overload protection.

The controllers accept three-phase input voltage and are suited for line starting or remote control applications. The products are UL and cUL listed. All SSX Series self-start motor controllers are furnished in rugged NEMA 1 ventilated enclosures or optional NEMA 4/12 enclosures for washdown duty applications.
