"Smart Card" Temperature Logger

N/Aa new "smart card" style of temperature logger. A single press of a button on the face of the unit activates the device. Once activated, it records accurately sensed temperature in memory for later retrieval by downloading to a PC computer or specialized EDS device.

Besides showing current temperature on the LCD, the user can also:

• Record that a temperature was viewed
• Scroll through screen display of the highest, lowest and last reading recorded
• Review all of the limit settings programmed into the unit

The display also indicates whether any of four independently settable threshold temperature criteria have been exceeded. Unit status is continuously monitored and displayed by icons on the LCD screen.

Bundled with every EDS unit is the EDM-2000 software package. Each recording is stored as a database record, rather than as an individual file. This allows users to sort, filter and manage by recording episodes. The software also accommodates sending a copy of the recording by email or on a disk as an individual file.
