Datasheet: Gain-in-Weight Batching Station

Source: K-Tron Process Group
K-Tron Gain-in-Weight Batching Stations are the preferred choice for flexible and economical batch preparation in applications involving up to 8 components and 100 recipes. Each batch component is sequentially and independently metered to a weighed collection hopper from which the completed batch is discharged. Any of K-Tron's wide range of volumetric metering devices (Single or Twin Screw Feeders, Bulk Solids Pump or other PID device) may be employed as demanded by ingredient handling characteristics. Fully integrated hopper refill and agitation solutions are available to assure a consistent supply and reliable flow. Collection hopper weighing is via accurate and durable three-point load cell measurement, and all system elements and external communications are handled by an easy to use yet powerful operator interface.

To assure complete system integrity, all K-Tron Gain-in-Weight Batching Stations are fully integrated and engineered by K-Tron's dedicated System Engineering Group.
