Designed specifically for the pharmaceutical, biotechnical and food processing markets, the Ashcroft Type 1036 In-Line Sanitary Pressure Gauge and Type 1037 Sanitary Instrument Fitting virtually eliminate process deadleg that can cause contamination. The design of both units allows the diaphragm of the gauge to be positioned at the gauge instrument fitting, eliminating the typical pocket where contamination can form.

A 1 ½ in. Tri-Clover type mating connection allows technicians to use the gauge and instrument fitting on process piping ranging in size from ½ in. to 2 in. The pressure gauge can be autoclaved or sterilized and cleaned (CIP) or steamed in place (SIP).

The gauge comes standard with True Zero pointer indication; this means that the gauge has no stop pin and will always indicate a true pointer reading. The gauge also has a Power Flex internal movement for extended life and an Easy Zero external pointer adjustment feature.

The gauge has an all-welded, 300 series stainless steel Bourdon tube and a field liquid-fillable gauge case. The face is 3 ½ in. and accuracy is 1.5% F.S. for pressure ranges 100 psi and above and 2.0% for vacuum, compound and ranges below 100 psi.
