Robotgrader Partnership Enhances Ishida Fresh Solutions Offering

Weighing and packing equipment specialist Ishida Europe has formed a partnership with Swedish company Robotgrader to further enhance its bespoke packing line solutions for fresh produce including meat and poultry.

The Robotgrader combines weighing and pick and place technologies to grade products of varying weight and pack them to a fixed weight straight into the pack. Product is weighed on a belt weigher and the weight is calculated with previously sorted products to find the best combination. The product is then picked and placed into the appropriate pack.

Robotgrader products will now be available to be integrated into Ishida fresh food packing lines alongside other Ishida equipment, including X-ray systems, tray sealers, seal testers and checkweighers, to provide bespoke solutions, tailored to individual customer requirements.
