Retractable Bio-Technology Housings

N/Aretractable bio-technology housings allow the electrode to be withdrawn for maintenance without interrupting the process or compromising sterility. After being serviced, the electrode can be sterilized by running steam through the two lock chambers, and then reinserted. The twin-chamber lock effectively protects the process from contamination during electrode insertion and retraction.

This housing is available for manual or pneumatic operation, and is installed on the side of the bioreactor using a 25-mm weld-in socket. Pressure resistance up to 6 bar allows the sensor to be used in large production fermenters.
