Ralcorp Purchases Cascade Cookie Co.

Ralcorp Holdings, Inc. (St. Louis) has completed the purchase of Washington based-Cascade Cookie Co., Inc., a manufacturer of cookies that are sold to the in-store bakeries of U.S. grocery chains. The acquisition of Cascade represents Ralcorp's entry into the perimeter sections of retail stores.

Ralcorp produces a variety of store brand foods that are sold under the individual labels of snack nuts, crackers and cookies, mayonnaise, and ready-to-eat and hot cereals.
