Ralcorp Holdings Buys Nutcracker Brands

Ralcorp Holdings, Inc. (St. Louis, MO) has completed the purchase of Nutcracker Brands, Inc. (Billerica, MA), a producer of snack nut products in the jar and can subsegment of the snack nut category. Nutcracker Brands markets snack nuts under both its NUTCRACKER value brand as well as through private label offerings.

Ralcorp manufactures private label ready-to-eat cereals, crackers and cookies, and with the addition of Nutcracker Brands increases its position in the snack nut category.
