Quadro Ytron ZC - Innovative Technology For The Cosmetic, Personal Care, Food, Pharmaceutical And Fine Chemical Industries

Source: Quadro Engineering Corp.
The Quadro Ytron ZC is designed to incorporate and disperse extremely difficult-to-wet-powders into a liquid stream with minimal air entrainment. The unique design of the rotor/stator and reactor head allow for the intense shearing of powders prior to hydration which delivers completely lump and "fish-eye" free dispersions. Generating a near perfect vacuum allows concentrations up to 25% by weight to be produced in a single pass, even with difficult products such as hydrocolloids, cellulose gums and carbomers. No dispersion aids such as pre-heating of water or the addition of solvents is required. Single pass processing allows for shorter batch times, no over-processing of shear sensitive products and batch reproducibility. Three sanitary design models are available, with capacities ranging from pilot scale up to 120 gpm (U.S.). The ZC conforms to 3-A Sanitary Standards (Number 35:00) and is USDA approved as a full CIP design.
