Protective Railing System

The GuardRite Protective Railing System is designed to help prevent damage to facilities and keep plants safe, while minimizing downtime. Constructed from a high tensile 12-gauge steel, it is available in a single rail, 17-in. high; or a double rail system, 43-in. high, when extra protection is needed around in-plant offices or equipment.

The railing system is able to withstand the impact of a fork truck traveling up to 3–4 mph. All protective railing edges are covered with vinyl stripping, and mounting post tops are covered with end caps. Rails and mounting posts are painted safety yellow and include UV inhibitors to allow installation of the railing system in exterior applications. The system can be used to define the dock area, guided vehicle routes, conveyor runs, pedestrian aisles and steel racking.
