The Production Reporting system provides all of the information necessary to create bills of materials, labor and line speed information, and perform detailed product costing.
The Production Reporting system provides all of the information necessary to create bills of materials, labor and line speed information, and perform detailed product costing. This information is then used to aid in the preparation of production schedules and the creation of material yield and labor efficiency reports. Performance and yield reports c a n be run summarizing performance by line, by shift, or by product for any time period desired. The third area of cost control provided in this system is line downtime tracking. Reasons for downtime can be coded for use in Pareto analysis, with individual detail records providing specific comments explaining a downtime event. This system can be operated as a stand-alone database or used in conjunction with the Inventory Management system to eliminate duplication of entry.
One feature contained in this module that is specific to food processing is unavailable in any other performance tracking software. The bill of materials used in product costing can be directly linked to a nutritional analysis calculator that displays the nutritional content of any product desired. A complete set of USDA nutritional components is included, and can be supplemented with vendor supplied information for components unique to your products.
Another feature specific to food processing is a capability to automatically print the submittal form for USDA label applications. As in the nutritional calculator, the submittal automatically calculates meat percentages from the component bills of materials. Try to find THAT in any other integrated operations reporting and control system!
