Product Inspection X-Ray Manufacturer Announces Significant US Expansion

Mekitec Ltd., the Finnish technology company recently announces plans for significant expansion into the Americas region with the appointment of Terry Woolford as CEO of Mekitec US LLC. The US will be providing sales and service of the company’s product inspection X-ray systems, the Meki range. With installations in more than 25 countries on 3 continents Mekitec has seen significant growth since formation. The significant investment into the North America will see the expansion of distribution and direct channels throughout the Americas.

The company’s well established Meki line is a range of space and cost economical X-ray inspection solutions designed to help food processors meet and exceed the requirements of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). The units detect metal, glass, stone and other dense contaminants that may inadvertently find their way into food products. The inspection systems automatically inspect and reject non-conforming products, thereby protecting the manufacturer and ultimately consumers.
