Setra Systems, Inc. and the EL-4100S Precision Balances offer accuracy at an economical price. The former is a three-place balance with a weighing capacity of 410g, and the latter is a two-place balance with a capacity of 4100g. Both models are suitable for the academic and industrial research market, including government research and testing laboratories, industrial process quality control, hospitals and environmental laboratories.
Each of the balances uses an economical two-key design for simplified operation, and features a large, easy-to-read LED display, bi-directional RS-232 data communications, rugged die cast aluminum housing and chemically resistant keypad. The unique stainless steel weighing pan is collapsible to provide extra protection from damage that can be caused by inadvertently overloading the balance.
