Over 25 Machines On Display At Pack Expo 2010

In booth S-2483, WeighPack will have over 25 machines on display, most running in complete systems. WeighPack is an industry leader offering a wide range of machines for weighing, bagging, and conveying. Among the many machines offered, WeighPack will be showcasing:

  • XPdius Elite Series VFS Baggers – vertical, form seal baggers use roll stock film to form and seal a bag. Designed for high speed applications, at speeds up to 120 bpm, both sides of the machine open, allowing easy access to all parts and assemblies inside the frame. The XPdius Elite series is ergonomically designed and includes tool-less quick removal of change parts and an articulating control panel.
  • Vertek Series VFS Baggers – Designed for midrange production requirements, the Vertek series of baggers operate at speeds up to 60 bpm and include standard features such as: automatic film unwinding, touch screen controls, pneumatically-operated sealing bars, and 30 product set-up programs. Vertek baggers are the most affordable VFS baggers on the market and are a great investment do to its simple design, off-the-shelf parts, low maintenance cost, reliable productivity, and increased efficiency.
  • Primo 360 Weigher – is the first open frame combination scale of its kind providing effortless access to all major components in the scale making it easy to operate, clean, decontaminate, and maintain. All systems are supplied with the Primo 360 Operating System with GUI touch screen technology, the interface gives the operator total control of all functions of the scale. The Primo Pocket Control allows operators to remotely control the scale from anywhere. Primo 360 Weighers are available in 10, 14, 16, 20, and 24 head configurations with 1.5, 2.5, and 5.5 liter bucket sizes.
  • r2b Horizontal Form Seal Bagger – can create a wide variety of bags and integrates bag making, filling, sealing, and printing into one automatic process increasing productivity and reducing labor and film costs. The R2B uses laminated roll film stock eliminating the need to purchase pre-made bags.
  • Swifty Bagger – the horizontal Swifty Bagger is designed to handle many types of pre-made bags including: stand-up, gusset, and flat bottom bags, with or without zipper closures. The Swifty automatically grabs, opens, fills, and seals the bag. Its touch screen controls make the Swifty Bagger very user friendly and is also ideal for liquids & powders. Cycle 40 bags per minute with 1-up, 2-up, or 3-up bags per cycle. Depending on the model, Swifty can produce up to 100 bags per minute.
  • And many more machines on display including: the Star Auger for filling powders and granulars; TigerScale V-25 linear scale; AW Series of linear scales; and several infeed systems and conveyors.
