Ottens Flavors Purchases New Manufacturing Facility

Philadelphia, PA - Ottens Flavors, an international flavor supplier to the food and beverage industries, recently announced the purchase of a new manufacturing facility in Philadelphia, Pa. The 60,000 square-foot, USDA-approved facility will enable the company to expand production of its SavoryPlus meat and savory flavors as well as increase encapsulation production capabilities.

Due to the overwhelming success of Ottens savory line, the new facility will focus primarily on the SavoryPlus flavors, and will provide Ottens with a 50 percent increase in its production capacity for encapsulated flavors. The purchase of the new space reflects the company's commitment to remain on the cutting-edge of flavor technology.

"The goal of our company is to continue to find innovative ways to serve the growing demands of our clients," said Richard Robinson, CEO of Ottens Flavors. "Our new facility will allow us to do just that, expanding our ability to bring the latest technologies to the flavor industry."

Used to add flavor to a variety of savory applications, the SavoryPlus flavors allow technologists and chefs to manipulate intense and subtle notes of fresh cooked beef, pork, chicken and turkey. The flavors are available with a wide variety of flavor characteristics, including roasted, charbroiled and grilled.
