Opta Food Launches new Gloss Product for Baked Goods
Opta Food Ingredients, Inc. has introduced Opta Baking Gloss into the bakery market.
The ready-to-use product will be marketed to large commercial and in-store bakeries, where baked goods are coated with a gloss to improve the products' appearance. Opta Baking Gloss provides shine and adhesion and requires no special storage. In addition, it eliminates the need for egg wash and the food safety concerns associated with the use of raw eggs.
