Computer Power Inc.ator II offers a transfer time of less than 50 milliseconds and is suited to applications where maximum reliability, low maintenance and minimum floorspace are important design considerations. On-board microprocessors control all system functions, including routine diagnostics to guarantee safe and proper emergency operation, and provide rapid, accurate data concerning operation of critical system functions. Available options include a battery exerciser, variable time delay circuit, and remote summary alarm panel.

The emergency "Interruptible Power System" consists of a microprocessor-controlled PWM (Pulse Width Modulated) based DC to AC power inverter utilizing Insulated Gate Bi-polar Transistors (IGBT), a fully automatic battery charger, a transfer relay and microprocessor-controlled electronics system, a digital meter display, standard fault alarms, and maintenance-free sealed lead calcium-type batteries (other batteries available upon request) properly sized for load requirement to meet UL-924.

The systems are floor mounted and housed in heavy gauge sheet metal cabinets requiring front access only. Modular design of system component assemblies allows ease of servicing and minimizes repair time. Each cabinet contains knockouts for inter-wiring with conduit.

The systems' microprocessor continuously monitors entire unit status. System status and emergency readiness are indicated on the display panel. The standard digital display allows direct readouts of AC input and output voltages, system load current, battery voltage and battery current.
