BioBlue Natural Blue color
Phycobiliproteins are deeply coloured, highly fluorescent photoreceptor pigments found in algae. Phycocyanin is the class of phycobiliproteins which exhibit a brilliant blue, occurring as large molecular weight aggregates attached to the photo- synthetic membranes and thought to be linked to the chlorophyll containing system for efficient energy transfer. BioBlue is a phycocyanin which is carefully extracted by water from edible blue green algae then further refined.
