Multivac To Exhibit Marking Solutions And Inspection Systems At Anuga FoodTec 2018

Multivac is set to exhibit its advanced marking solutions and inspection systems for the food industry at Anuga FoodTec 2018.

The event will take place between 20 and 23 March in Cologne, Germany.

At the event, the company will exhibit new generation of direct web printers, including DP 230 direct web printer.

The DP 230 direct web printer has been developed for use on thermoforming packaging machines.

It includes a printer and propulsion unit with x-axis and y-axis that allow it act in both directions, helping to print both lengthwise and crosswise to the packaging film transport direction.

Multivac will also showcase a range of conveyor belt labelers at the event. With the L 310, the company will show a model with a modular design for higher outputs and complex labelling, printing and inspection requirements for different packs such as trays, boxes, pots and thermoformed packs.

At the event, the firm will show the integration of this model into a T 800 traysealer line for D labeling. Under the process, a label will be attached to the top side over both sides and, as well as bottom side of the skin pack.

Furthermore, Multivac will exhibit Baseline I 100 X-ray inspection system, I 211 checkweigher and I 410 visual inspection system at the event.

The I 100 system will allow to detect foreign bodies made with metal, glass, bone, stone, ceramic and thick plastic. It will also help to check the completeness or fill level of packs, as well as integrity of products.

The I 211 checkweigher, with integrated metal detector, allows to check weight precisely. Multivac’s I 410 range will be used for complete checks on the packs, including pattern and character recognition, character verification and inspection of legibility and codes.
