Multivac Offers Integrated Vacuum Chamber, Shrink Packaging

B400, B500 Models Now Available with Steam Shrink Tunnels

Kansas City, MO – Processors of meat, cheese and other food products requiring shrink packaging have a new option to simplify and enhance their packaging operations. Multivac, Inc. is now offering its versatile B400 and B500 (B500 with split belt also available) vacuum chamber systems together with SE130 steam shrink tunnels as a complete packaging solution. While all machines are sold individually, incentive pricing is available when the chamber systems are purchased together with shrink tunnels.

"Purchasing a Multivac shrink tunnel together with a new chamber system is the most economical and efficient way to ensure a smooth start-up for a new packaging line," says Bill Williams, Multivac's product manager for chamber systems. "Not only is there a dollar savings on the equipment purchase, but the customer receives the benefit of having the entire packaging line installed by our expert technicians. In addition, the customer has a single point of contact for troubleshooting and technical support."

Ideal for a wide range of large-volume vacuum pouch and shrink bag applications, Multivac's B400 and B500 belted chamber systems are equipped with adjustable height, biactive water cooled seal bars and are wash-down hygienic. Patent-pending technology built into the SE130 shrink tunnel enables users to save up to 65 percent on power and water consumption by recirculating heat and steam that would otherwise be vented as waste.
