Multiple Discharge/Inlet Demonstrator System

This self-contained, multi-functional flexible screw demonstrator system simulates the operation of multiple delivery systems and multiple inlet systems, which commonly span long distances when field-installed.

The demonstrator conveys bulk material vertically, through a transfer housing, to a horizontally oriented flexible screw conveyor having multiple delivery points, indicative of feeding packaging machines or distributing material to process equipment or molding machines throughout a plant.

At multiple inlet points, material is picked up by a second, horizontally oriented flexible screw conveyor and returned to a common discharge point, representative of systems fed by multiple storage vessels or process equipment.

The enclosed conveyor tubes, with flexible screws removable for thorough cleaning, are said to prevent contamination of the product and plant environment. High reliability and low maintenance are claimed due to the lack of internal bearings, cyclone separators, or other wearing components. The flexible screw self-centers in the tube and is the only moving part contacting material.

Both multiple delivery and multiple inlet systems are available with manually or automatically actuated valves, level sensors, and accessories for integration with automated, plant-wide control systems offered by the company.

All material contact surfaces are offered in carbon steel with durable industrial finish, and stainless steel with industrial or sanitary finish.
