Fisher Rosemount Systems, Inc.taV Batch Executive coordinates all activities during batch operation. This product sequences and coordinates recipe execution, performs equipment arbitration and allocation, synchronizes phase to phase communication and facilitates manual phase control. In addition, it downloads phase parameters to phase logic modules in the M3 and M5 controllers, and uploads report data from phase logic modules for inclusion in the recipe execution journal. Equipment is automatically allocated during recipe execution.
This product acts as a multi-batch process server that interfaces to the various tools within the DeltaV Batch suite of applications. Recipes, formulas, and parameters developed in the Recipe Studio, as well as, associated equipment defined in the DeltaV Explorer are downloaded to this product after recipe configuration. During execution of the control recipe, this product processes all recipe management actions such as skipping and repeating steps, holding, stopping, aborting, restarting the recipe, and process parameter management.
