Muir Glen Joins Small Planet Foods L.L.C.

Small Planet Foods, a leading organic and natural foods company, has acquired Muir Glen, the country's largest producer of organic tomato products. Muir Glen joins Cascadian Farm and Fantastic Foods as a member of Small Planet Foods, L.L.C., headquartered in Sedro-Woolley, Wash.

Muir Glen will move its headquarters to the Fantastic Foods facility in Petaluma, Calif., consolidating the company's operations, finance and marketing departments.

Brady Whitlow, currently director of sales and marketing for Muir Glen, will join the Small Planet Foods executive management team as vice president and will continue to lead the development of the Muir Glen brand.

Clark Driftmier, formerly chief operating officer of Cascadian Farm, becomes senior vice president of marketing for Small Planet Foods. His responsibilities will include managing the activities of the marketing departments for Cascadian Farm, Fantastic Foods and Muir Glen.
