MPCTerm is a software program that adds remote access and real-time diagnostic functions to the company's line of E-Z Tec Microprocessor Controlled (MPC) metal detectors
MPCTerm is a software program that adds remote access and real-time diagnostic functions to the company's line of E-Z Tec Microprocessor Controlled (MPC) metal detectors, used in processing applications such as food, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, among others. The remote access feature enables one or more "Master" computers to monitor an unlimited number of metal detectors. These computers work through a network of modem-connected "Slave" computers, each of which may directly control up to 99 metal detectors.
The software's real-time diagnostic functions, in conjunction with unique diagnostic features in the MPC chip, enable users to view an oscilloscopic trace of the signal being processed by any networked detector right on the computer screen. When combined with the enhanced remote operation capability, this oscilloscopic capability means that metal detector operational problems can be debugged from anywhere in the world.
Features:
Simple modem and phone line connectionMonitor as little as one second of operation or as much as one hourZoom to allow signal resolution down to .1 mv or less, and up to 5 voltsSoftware is compatible with Windows and can also be used on most DOS-based PCs
