LS-100 Luminance Meter
The LS-100 handheld spot luminance meters are categorized in the upper range of the DIN quality class B, making them among the best hand meters on the market.
The LS-100 handheld spot luminance meters are categorized in the upper range of the DIN quality class B, making them among the best hand meters on the market. They are lightweight, compact, and powered by a single 9V battery for easy portability.
The series features an SLR (single lens reflex) optical system which allows precise targeting, ensures that the viewfinder shows the exact area to be measured even at very short distances, and enables areas as small as 0.4mm diameter to be measured. This makes the instrument extremely easy to use, even for first time users.
The measured luminance value is shown on the LCD screen, as well as the viewfinder, which enables the user to control the measured object without moving the instrument away from the eye. A neutral density eyepiece filter is included to allow measurements of strong light sources. The pistol grip enables the user to more stably hold the unit.
The LS-100 has the ability to measure even extremely dark surfaces since its range starts at 0.001cd/m2. This instrument includes user calibration and color-correction functions, which allow the user to select a standard luminance and the function corrects the differences for the specified light sources. Measurement values can also be set to instantaneous luminance, peak luminance, and luminance ratio. This instrument can connect to a PC to send measurement data and receive control signals.
