This manufacturer selected Marion to design and build a food-grade, sanitary batch mixer to blend nutraceutical vitamin powders. The addition of oil through a liquid spray manifold system was added to formulate this blend. When blended, the material has a density of 25 to 30 lbs./cu. ft. The blend is used in a nutritional powder drink mix. It features T304 stainless steel construction, all-welded, double ribbon style agitator, #4 sanitary finish on all contact surfaces, split and adjustable stuffing box main-shaft seals, 7" pneumatic actuated paddle discharge valve, (2) 10 Hp high-speed chopper assemblies, 15 Hp shaft-mounted torque arm reducer drive assembly, 12-ga. 304SS gasketted cover with split hinge and stainless steel tubular legs.
