Domino North Americaator controlled, variable pulse width feature of the Domino DDC2 Digital Laser Coder permits efficient and legible laser marking on PET and PETE bottles and containers. Pulse width, or on time, of the laser pulse determines the overall laser energy level. This feature not only eliminates burn through, leakage and possible contamination, but it enhances the efficiency of the DDC2. It enables the operator to adjust the DDC2 for type of material, thickness, and line speed for optimum code quality, package integrity, and operating efficiency. The DDC2 is compact, lightweight, and easily set up and moved from line to line. Its operator interface offers a friendly operating environment, even for non-technical personnel. DDC2 offers dual laserhead capability to code on the same or a second production line with the same of different codes. Flexible conduit allows the direct coding laserheads to be placed up to 36 cable ft. from the mobile control unit for efficiency.
