Koch Membrane Systems Receives Kosher Certification On Select KOCHKLEEN Membrane Cleaners For Food And Beverages
Wilmington, WI – Koch Membrane Systems, Inc. (KMS), a developer and manufacturer of innovative membranes and membrane filtration systems, has earned kosher pareve certification from The Orthodox Union (OU) on all KOCHKLEENâ membrane cleaners designed specifically for food and beverage applications. The OU symbol is the world's best known and most widely accepted kosher trademark.
The certification is effective from July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007 and is subject to renewal at that time. Specific cleaners granted OU pareve certification include: KOCHKLEEN 100, KOCHKLEEN 105, KOCHKLEEN 120, KOCHKLEEN 150, KOCHKLEEN 180, KOCHKLEEN 222, KOCHKLEEN 230, KOCHKLEEN 410, KOCHKLEEN ENZYME 10 L, KOCHKLEEN KLD II, KOCHKLEEN KLD III, KOCHKLEEN KLD III LF, KOCHKLEEN UC III, KOCHKLEEN UC II PF, and KOCHKLEEN WO. Products are considered OU kosher pareve if they contain neither milk nor meat ingredients. Fish and eggs are allowed.
KOCHKLEEN membrane cleaners are compatible with membranes supplied by most major membrane suppliers. Use of KOCHKLEEN membrane cleaners helps to prolong membrane life and reduce cleaning cycle time. All KMS chemical formulations are carefully reviewed by its process engineers and membrane and polymer scientists to ensure that they will provide the enhanced performance benefits, including physical and chemical compatibility with KMS membranes.
