Kirk Spitzer Appointed President of Tri-Clover Inc.

N/Aany%> has announced the appointment of Kirk E. Spitzer as president. Assuming his new duties in May, Spitzer succeeds Quint Jackson, who has served as acting president since the resignation of Ole B. Andersen in December 1997.

Spitzer joined Alfa Laval in 1983 and was appointed president of Alfa Laval Thermal Inc. in 1987. In that capacity he was instrumental in restructuring its operations, increasing manufacturing capacity and growing the business.

Prior to Alfa Laval, Spitzer served in sales and product management capacities with Universal Oil Products, a subsidiary of Signal Company, and Research Cottrell. Spitzer is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnical Institute & State University, where he earned his degree in industrial engineering.

Tri-Clover Inc. is an Alfa Laval company headquartered in Kenosha, Wis. The company manufactures sanitary stainless-steel pumps, valves, fittings and systems, which it markets through its Food & Dairy, Bio-Pharm and Export Divisions.
