Cryomix is a batch process that simultaneously mixes, quick-freezes and coats food products with sauce to ensure quality and consistency. Individually sauce-coated food pieces produced using the process can offer a more consistent final product that is ready to cook, without the need for sauce packets or pellets.

The technology for Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) coating uses sequential injections of sauce and liquid nitrogen to freeze layers of sauce onto IQF products, effectively coating each piece of product completely and uniformly, at coating ratios as high as 50%, without damaging even the most fragile pieces.

Food companies can easily integrate the process into in-line production systems. The high-performance system ensures process control, reliability of temperature, and optimization of gas consumption, and also meets the strictest food-industry standards for safety and sanitation.
