PTI Packaging Systems will introduce ultra hi-speed pouch filling technology at the Global Pouch Forum, May 11-13, 2010 at the Sheraton Sand Key Hotel in Clearwater Beach, Florida.
Tony Stauffer, president of Packaging Technologies & Inspection stated, "For many decades, Waldner has provided the very best in filling and sealing machines for cups, trays and portion packs. The next logical step was to develop solutions for flexible packaging. What Waldner has achieved with this new pouch filling technology is unprecedented. Speeds range from 120 up to 1,200 pouches per minute."
Waldner's new technology offers solutions for high productivity, high volume pouch filling applications. Each stage of this process insures extremely efficient control and handling of the pouch, multiple pouch filling options including integrated filling systems (particulates, IQF, pumpables and liquids) combined with ultrasonic sealing.
Stauffer adds, "Waldner's Ultra High Speed Pouch Filling Machine made its debut in January 2010 at the Waldner factory in Wangen, Germany, where many customers visited to see the Dosomat Pouch 20.14 in action. This new high speed technology for filling pre-made pouches will set new standards and redefine the industry."
