Series 1200 Flush Grid and Raised Rib Belts for Pasteurizer/Warmer/Cooler Applications

Intralox is introducing two new modular plastic conveyor belts that meet the requirements of today's more demanding pasteurizer, warmer and cooler applications, and offer important options. The new Series 1200 Flush Grid and Raised Rib belts combine the advantages of small pitch design with the strength and durability required for modern beverage pasteurizer tunnels. The belts' small pitch (1.44", 36.5mm) facilitates the use of Live Transfer infeed and discharge configurations, eliminating stranded containers. This benefit represents an important cost saving at product change-overs when a plant is working with a wide variety of products. On the strength side, a module thickness of 0.75" (19.1 mm) and the use of polypropylene composite material helps insure the belts have the stiffness required for the longer, wider lines and their increased weight. Simplified installation reduces start-up and maintenance costs.

Perhaps the most welcome news to customers about the belts is the options they offer. By having both Flush Grid and Raised Rib surfaces to choose from, along with either Finger Transfer Plates or Live Transfer, customers will be able to select exactly the right configuration for their specific container. An additional benefit is the easy retrofit between the two belt styles that allows conversions to the alternate belt if application requirements change.
