International Home Foods to Acquire Venice Maid

International Home Foods, Inc. (Parsippany, NJ), has signed an agreement to acquire canned pasta and soup manufacturer, Venice Maid Foods, Inc.

Venice Maid is one of two U.S. manufacturers of private label canned pasta. It supplies canned pasta and specialty soups to the food service trade and introduces IHF to a new category of specialty soups for the retail and food service channels.

John Bess, president of International Home Foods, said, "Venice Maid's strong specialty soups business will expand our presence in food service.''

International Home Foods, Inc. is a nationally prominent manufacturer, distributor and marketer of food products.
