Innovative Packaging Solutions For Food And Industrial Products

Wolfertschwenden - MULTIVAC will be represented at interpack 2014 by two exhibition stands. In Hall 5 the packaging specialist is presenting a wide range of innovations, covering all aspects of the packaging of food and industrial products, including a new entry-level model among the thermoforming packaging machines and new technologies for process and automation equipment. Live demonstrations will also take place here. Packaging solutions for the life science and healthcare industries will be presented on the second stand in Hall 17.

As regards the sector of thermoforming packaging solutions, MULTI-VAC will be presenting an innovative machine process for producing portion packs of viscous food and non-food products. The packaging specialist is also showing its automated R 245 packaging solution, which is equipped with a die change system for ensuring very short conversion times and a high degree of flexibility. The MULTIVAC portfolio of exhibition machines is rounded off with the R 145 as the smallest model, which can be fully configured, and with a new entry-level model.

As regards the traysealers, MULTIVAC will be showing an extensive range of automatic traysealers. The successful T 300 entry-level model for automatic packing in trays is equipped with a denester and a conveyor belt labeller. The T 700 will be integrated in an automated packaging line with automatic infeed. The T 600 is equipped with a filler for packing ready meals and convenience products in multicompartment trays.

When it comes to the chamber machine sector, MULTIVAC will also be presenting its complete product range of small-chamber and large-chamber models, as well as double-chamber machines and chamber belt machines.

The MULTIVAC daughter company, MULTIVAC Marking & Inspection, will be represented on the stand in Hall 5, and it will be showing its comprehensive range of inspection systems and labelling and marking equipment, which is integrated in the various packaging solutions. The exhibition highlights for MULTIVAC Marking & Inspection are new generations of label dispensing heads and conveyor belt labellers. Another focus of MULTIVAC's presence at the exhibition will be solutions for packing non-food products, whereby different requirements of the retail trade, such as for example anti-theft security, are taken into consideration.

An extensive program of seminars on different topics covering all aspects of packaging awaits the exhibition visitors in the MULTIVAC Academy. The seminars will take place on MULTIVAC's stand in Hall 5. Registration can be conducted via the MULTIVAC website.
