Domino Amjet offers a wide range of ink jet and laser printing systems for the food industry
Domino North AmericaAmjet offers a wide range of ink jet and laser printing systems for the food industry. The printers are capable of printing sequential numbers, date codes, batch codes, real time, Julian dates, and logs. The printers also offer permanent coding onto PET, PVC, glass, and paper. Domino offers waterproof printers rated to IP65 that can operate in damp environments and can cope with wet conditions. Domino's small character range of ink jet printers offers versatile, flexible, and high-speed coding on a variety of surfaces. These printers use a closed loop ink management system that prevents ink contamination. No lab quality plant air is required. The printers also feature start/stop and a cartridge/reservoir system. Domino has two large character printers capable of printing on a variety of porous and non-porous substrates. The CaseCoder is a valve jet printer that is typically used for coding up to two lines on the sides of trays and boxes.
For end of the line coding, the Macrojet 2 is a large character printer that can print character sizes from ½ in.-2 in. The printer can be positioned to print from any direction and has been used for coding onto sacks and other irregular objects. Using a specially adapted printhead on either side, trays may be cooled as little as ¼ in. from the base edge on boxes and trays. Both Macrojet and CaseCooler can keep pace with industrial production line speeds and are programmed via portable hand held terminal.
Standard Inks are available in black, blue, yellow, green, red, clear, and white. Domino also has food grade inks that meet with FDA approval for incidental contact with food. Thermochronic inks are also offered. These inks are suited for printing onto cans prior to going through steam sterilization.
