Impact-Resistant Plastic Conveyor Belt

N/Aput from meat and poultry processors, the new Series 1800 Flat Top modular conveyor belt is "just like the 800 Series, but with more strength for extreme heavy- duty applications."

The Series 1800's easy-to-clean design enables customers to perform fast, thorough cleanup in less time with reduced costs. The large 2.5" belt pitch and 1" transverse (distance between the hinges) pitch equals 50% fewer hinge pockets overall and the hinge openings are large enough to allow spray to reach both top and bottom surfaces. The "camlink" hinges are sculpted and beveled, opening up the hinge areas as the belt wraps around sprockets. The belt's drive bar runs the full width of the belt, forcefully channeling wash water and debris off the surface. The belt's surfaces are radiused and smooth with no sharp corners to catch debris or harbor bacteria growth.

In order to achieve greater impact resistance, the Series 1800 modules are 0.750" (19.1 mm) thick with overall deck thickness of 0.350" (8.9 mm). The drive bar on the underside also adds to overall belt rigidity providing
more support on the carryways. Test results show the new belt to be highly impact resistant.
