Horizontal Material Separator (HMS)

The Horizontal Material Separator (HMS) cyclone separates conveyed material from the conveying airstream, minimizing the amount of air that exits with discharge material. The horizontal cyclone design is similar to a standard cyclone however; the main housing unit is turned 90° with both cylinder ends capped. The functionality of the HMS is also proven to have comparable efficiencies to a standard cyclone. Testing has confirmed that minimal carryover takes place while conveying with an HMS. The HMS is ideal for handling large and small kibble, large flakes, and fish feed.
