Hershey Foods Makes Management Changes

Kenneth Wolfe, chairman and CEO of Hershey Foods Corporation, has announced the following management changes, effective January 1, 1999.

Joseph Viviano, president and COO, will become vice chairman of the board, Hershey Foods Corporation. Viviano will continue to serve on the board of directors, the Hershey Foods Management Committee, and will have responsibility for the corporation's international business.

Michael Pasquale, president, Hershey Chocolate North America, will become senior vice president, Confectionery, Grocery and Pasta, Hershey Foods Corporation, with responsibility for the corporation's confectionery, grocery and pasta businesses, as well as its research and development activities. In addition, Pasquale will be nominated to join the corporation's board of directors, effective January 1, 1999.

Raymond Brace, vice president, Operations, will become senior vice president, Operations, Hershey Foods Corporation, with responsibility for the corporation's operations and manufacturing shared services.
