Heinz Recalls Baby Food
Heinz Canada is recalling its Heinz Junior Vegetables, Beans & Pasta casserole baby food in 213-ml jars after the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Heinz found a stone in two jars. Consumers should look at the jar cap and check for the date 09AU01 and the first seven digits of the production code 1VI0409. The baby food was produced on February 9, 1999.
Anyone who has purchased the product should discard the jars or return them to the place of purchase for exchange. The recall only applies to Heinz Junior baby food produced and sold in Canada and does not affect any Heinz baby food available in the U.S.
