Heinz Configures New Management Team
H.J. Heinz Company has configured a new management team for its North America Dry Grocery and Foodservice affiliates.
William C. Springer, executive vice president, will assume the new position of president for Heinz North American Dry Grocery and Foodservice. These expanded responsibilities include Heinz U.S.A., Heinz Canada, StarKist Seafood and Heinz Pet Products.
Joseph Jimenez, Jr., will join Heinz as president and CEO-Heinz North America, filling a position that has been vacant for years. Jimenez was recently president of Wesson/Peter Pan Food Company and the Orville Redenbacher/Swiss Miss Food Company, all part of Hunt-Wesson.
Daniel J. O'Neill, currently executive vice president, will become executive vice president--North America sales. In this position, he will be responsible for the consolidation of Heinz's broker sales organization and the development of a single sales focus for all of Heinz's North American affiliates.
Peter L. Bowen, currently president-retail product group for Heinz U.S.A., will become president and CEO of Heinz Pet Products and will relocate to the Newport, KY, headquarters.
